What began as a space to keep myself occupied while healing from surgery, this blog has grown into a place to tell my greater medical story and document the long, unforeseen recovery following a near-fatal post-operative complication, emergency second surgery (and later, a third), multi-organ failure, intensive care, TPN, blood transfusions, months in hospital, and the aftermath.
I stumbled upon you on Twitter while screaming into the void. I don’t know you, pretty sure you don’t know me. But somehow I managed to uncover your story. You are amazing. Congratulations, you are an special person with massive strength and I hope you continue to power forward. You should be incredibly proud of yourself.
